Privacy policy

EM+X ("we", "us") is a Cubed Studios product that turns a brief and a brand template into finished presentations and documents. This policy describes what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and authentication credentials (or your identity from an OAuth sign-in provider), managed through Supabase.
- Your content: the templates you upload, the briefs you write, the evidence you attach, and the documents EM+X generates for you.
- Usage and billing records: which operations you run (generations, revisions) and your subscription state. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.
- Operational telemetry: technical logs and build events used to run and improve the service's reliability and output quality.
How we use it
- To provide the service: generating, checking, revising, storing, and delivering your documents.
- To meter your plan's allowance and process subscriptions.
- To operate, debug, and improve the service.
- To communicate with you about your account (authentication emails, service notices).
What we never do
- We do not use your content to train models — ours or our AI providers'. Generation runs through commercial model APIs under terms that exclude training on API traffic.
- We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
- Your content is never visible to other customers.
Who processes data on our behalf
We use a small set of infrastructure providers, each processing data only as needed to provide the service: Vercel (web hosting), Render (document engine hosting), Supabase (authentication, database, file storage), Stripe (payments), and commercial large-language-model APIs (document generation). Transactional email is delivered via our email provider.
Retention and deletion
Your content is retained while your account is active, subject to your plan's retention settings. Deleting a project deletes its documents and data from the product. To delete your account and its data entirely, contact hello@emplusx.com.
Security
All connections run over TLS; content is encrypted at rest. Every request is authenticated and ownership-checked, with optional two-factor authentication. Connected AI tools use OAuth 2.1 with audience-bound tokens and can reach only your own projects.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your content at any time — finished documents are standard .pptx/.docx files you download and keep. For access, correction, or deletion requests beyond what the product exposes, email hello@emplusx.com.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change, and note the date above. Material changes will be announced to account holders by email.
